Joe is a wood craftsman based in West Wales. He works with locally sourced timber and wood from his own woodland. Wood is carefully selected with an eye for natural curves, good grain structure and interesting features. Inspiration for a piece often comes from the wood itself.
Joe lives and works on a smallholding managed on permaculture principles. Thousands of new trees are being planted and existing woodlands are managed sustainably. Constant contact with nature provides inspiration for his craft.
